The adventure begins in Cape Town, one of Africa’s most fascinating cities. You will discover Table Mountain, the colourful neighbourhood of Bo-Kaap, the lively V&A Waterfront and the extraordinary landscapes of the Cape Peninsula. The itinerary includes unmissable places such as Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope, the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach and the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive.
You will then continue to the Kruger National Park region, where you will experience the thrill of watching animals in the wild. You will enjoy four safaris in open 4×4 vehicles, accompanied by professional guides specialising in wildlife and plants, exploring different areas in the south of the park, one of Africa’s best places to try to spot the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.
You will also visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC), where you will discover its conservation projects and see different threatened species. The day continues with a 90-minute guided boat trip through the Blyde River Canyon, with views of the Three Rondavels, the distinctive Kadishi Tufa waterfall and, with luck, hippos, crocodiles and numerous birds.
The experience is completed along the Panorama Route, where you will discover some of South Africa’s most impressive landscapes: Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls and Berlin Falls.
